One of the most popular horse tours in Kyrgyzstan, this 3-day journey takes you through mountain valleys and high passes to the stunning alpine lake Song-Kol. You will ride horses, stay in traditional yurts, and experience authentic nomadic life.

Itinerary

Day 1: Bishkek โ€“ Kyzart โ€“ Kilemche Valley
  • ๐Ÿš— 4 hours by car

We meet in Bishkek at 07:30 AM and drive to Kyzart village by comfortable transport.
After arrival, we have lunch at a guesthouse and a short horse-riding instruction. The horse trek starts from Kyzart and leads us to Kilemche Valley. Along the way, you will enjoy wide mountain landscapes and fresh alpine air. In the evening, we arrive at a local shepherdโ€™s yurt, where you can explore the area, observe nomadic life, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in a traditional yurt.
Day 2: Kilemche โ€“ Song-Kol Lake

After breakfast, we ride toward Song-Kol Lake. The route goes over the Jalgyz Karagai Pass (3,400 m), offering stunning panoramic views of the lake from above. After crossing the pass, we descend and continue riding along the shore of Song-Kol Lake toward the Tuz Ashuu area.

You will have time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lake, vast pastures, and grazing herds. Lunch, dinner, and overnight in a comfortable tourist yurt camp at Song-Kol.
Day 3: Song-Kol โ€“ Kyzart โ€“ Bishkek

  • ๐Ÿš— Transfer
In the morning, we continue riding around Song-Kol Lake and cross the Kara-Kiya Pass (3,400 m). From the pass, we descend to Kyzart village. Lunch at a guesthouse in Kyzart, followed by transfer back to Bishkek or Kochkor, according to your travel plans.
