Itinerary

October - May
Day 1: Bishkek – Kyzart – Kilemche
We pick you up from your hotel in Bishkek and drive to the village of Kyzart. After lunch at a local house, you’ll start a 3–4 hour horse ride to Kilemche pasture. On the way, you’ll see rivers, hills, and shepherd houses. Dinner and overnight with a local family in the mountains.
Day 2: Kilemche – Son-Kul
After breakfast, ride over the Tuz-Ashuu pass (3,400 m) to reach Son-Kul Lake. Enjoy amazing views, have lunch in a yurt, and spend the afternoon by the lake. You can join winter games or take a horse sleigh ride. Overnight in a warm yurt under the stars.
Day 3: Son-Kul – Kyzart
After breakfast, ride back to Kyzart via Uzbek Pass (3,200 m). Stay overnight in a guest house or host.
Day 4: Kyzart – Bokonbaev (by car)
Drive to Bokonbaev village. You’ll stay with an eagle hunter’s family or in a guest house/yurt. Learn about eagle hunting and visit the lake side.
Day 5: Skazka Canyon – Bishkek
Visit the colorful Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon, then head back to Bishkek.
